On Sunday night the AKM Sunday Night Cup drivers head to the fast high banked 1.5 mile oval in Atlanta Motor Speedway for the 2nd to last race before the chase starts. Last week at Bristol featured a race this writer can't describe about since he was out of town with his $5 footlong. Michael "The Sexyinator" Sharp took home the victory. Richard "Beasnizzle" Beasley finished in 2nd. Bill "Go9Dodge" Schoonover finished in 3rd. Jason "I'm starting to like Busch Light with it's great taste and low prices" Williams finished in 4th. Carl "The Mailman" Dodson rounded out the top 5. As of now the battle to get into the chase is the top story in the AKM Sunday Night Cup Series. Zac "The Franchise" McDaniel currently represents the 11th spot in the standings. Teammate Michael Sharp sits in 12th and 43 points behind McDaniel. Matt "BabyHarvick" Vassar currently holds the 13th spot and is only 24 points behind Sharp and 67 points behind McDaniel. Jimmie "You still make my heart go........" North sits 14th in the standings and is 109 points behind Sharp and 152 points behind Zac McDaniel. Atlanta always features great racing, nail biting/nipple squeezing finishes, and long green flag runs. Josh Parker won the race back in March after having a hard fought battle with Brian Perski and Jeff Hale Sr. Y'all know what the times are for Practice and Qualifying and such since I say it in every article so I'm just going to finish my big ole sentence here by saying "SAY YOU ALL TOMORROW NIGHT" which is pretty much what I say all the time but without reppin' dat CAPS LOCK WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
