Tonight is the 4th race of the 2009 AKM Monday Night Money Series Presented by the Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Last week at Las Vegas was a pretty decent race in both servers. Had a few cautions, but the race overall in both servers was pretty decent. In the B Server R.J. Brookshire took home the win and the $12 that came with it for Owner Mark Alverson. Ray Alfalla, Brian Perski, Matt Derr, and whoever was driving Justin Melillo’s car (Sorry forgot your name) finished 5th. But ya good job new guy. In the Main Event, Josh “I’ll run Bobby Labonte’s paint scheme since he was doing good for the first 3 races but at Atlanta he didn’t do to good so now I’m a sad little Panda” Parker took home the win and the $40 that came with it for Owner Jeff Hale Sr. Pedro “THIS GUY IS PUERTO RICAN NOT MEXICAN I THINK BECAUSE ON HIS MYSPACE IT SAYS PUERTO RICAN PRIDE SO I‘M GUESSING HE‘S PUERTO RICAN K?” Mojica finished 2nd and took home $20 for Owner Rob Neises. Adam “Ballinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn’” Peter finished 3rd. Randy “MY EARS MAKE ME GO FAST” Hockaday finished 4th. Kevin “I have no nickname for this guy yet” McAdams rounded out the top 5. As of now Harrison “I hope you don’t get any incident points in iracing this week” Widelitz has a 6 point lead over Adam Peter. Chad “Da Big Dog” Coleman sits 3rd, 16 points behind his teammate Widelitz. Pedro Mojica and Randy Hockaday round out the top 5. Tonight at Atlanta should be a very fun race. Atlanta is one of the fastest tracks on the circuit, but it’s also one of the biggest tire eating tracks on the circuit as well. Drivers will need to take care of the equipment and tires for the long runs, which Atlanta usually provides. Practice should start at around 7:30 EST. Knockout Qualifying should take place at around 8:45 EST. Qualifying for both servers should start at around 9:15 EST with drivers taking the green flag at around 9:30 EST.
