Tonight the AKM Monday Night Money Series Presented by the Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure drivers head to Sonoma, California to take on Infineon Raceway for the 1st of 2 road course races of the season. Last week at Michigan featured great racing with lots of long green flag runs. In the B Server Jason “Still can’t see your facebook video yet…….ROARRRRRRRRRRR” Williams took home the victory and brought home $12 for Owner Bill Schoonover. Guy “Dig” Snyder IV finished in 2nd. Thomas “I’m typing all of this before the Infineon race……so I predict Robby Gordon will mess up somehow with a fast racecar” Hitch finished in 3rd. Mike “Soup……I don‘t like Soup but I love you” Campbell finished in 4th. Matt “You have one of the shortest last names I’ve ever heard of (Minus all them Chinese last names like Ng, Yang, Ya, Wee, and so of and so forth)” Derr rounded out the top 5. In the Main server Greg “Rocketman” Wellen took home his 1st ever AKM Monday Night Money victory. He brought home $40 for Owner Bill Schoonover. Ray “Dig Master” Alfalla finished right behind Wellen in 2nd. Alfalla brought home $20 for Owner Jeff Hale Sr. Alfalla also brought home another $12 for leading at the halfway point. R.J. “Cookie” Brookshire finished in 3rd. Michael “The Sexy Sharpinator” Sharp finished in 4th. JD “Is JD your real name or does it stand for something else?” Laird rounded out the top 5. As of now we have a tie for the points lead with Harrison/Harry “ETC” Widelitz and Michael Sharp both occupying the #1 spot. In 3rd sits Jason “Daggum” Cox, who is only 2 points behind Sharp and Widelitz. In 4th and only 22 points behind the lead is Adam “BALLINNNNNNNNNN” Peter. Justin “The Rookie” Roberts rounds out the top 5 and is only 28 points behind the lead. Tonight should be a very interesting race at Infineon with each turn featuring a different challenging characteristic. Pit Strategy and transmission durability will be key factors in tonight’s race. Practice should start at around 7:30 EST with Knockout Qualifying taking place at around 8:45 EST. Qualifying in both servers should take place at around 9:15 EST with the green flag dropping shortly after. See you all tonight!

Last week at Michigan featured another disappointing race with 44% of the race being under yellow. In the end Allen “The Sensation” Lewis took home the victory. Brian “Magnum” Perski finished 2nd. Guy “INI FTW WOOHOO” Snyder IV finished 3rd. Jimmie “You make my heart go…..” North finished 4th. Jeff “WOOHOO you finished another race” Hale Sr. rounded out the top 5. As of now Chad “I’m coming for you for that points lead BIG DOG RUFF RUFF RUFF” Coleman holds an 11 point lead over Brian Perski. Guy Snyder IV still represents dat #3 spot. James “Hula-Hoop” Krahula sits 4th in the points. Richard “Thanks for the facebook friend request” Beasley rounds out the top 5. Tonight should be a wild race at the Road Course of Infineon Raceway. Each turn features a different challenging characteristic. Drivers will need to save their equipment and transmission for the end of the race if they want to contend for the win. Practice should start at around 7:30 EST. Qualifying should take place at around 8:30 EST with the race starting shortly after. See you all tonight!
